Exporting OXO Biodegradable Plastic (OBD) Products to Saudi Arabia

Exporters must ensure that the products are in compliance with the Saudi Standardization, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) Technical Regulation for Degradable Plastic Products and are marked with the SASO Oxo-biodegradable logo prior to their export to Saudi Arabia. 

Disposable plastic products that are made from polypropylene and polyethylene having a film thickness of less than or equal to 250 microns, must be oxo-biodegradable (OBD) certified and bear the OBD mark.
