Glass packaging supplier in Gulf region and beyond

Certified for quality management since 2007
GGMC has partnered with SGS since 2007 when they initially achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification. This certification affirmed GGMC's commitment to maintaining an effective quality management system that meets customer expectations while continuously improving business processes.
Starting from then, SGS auditors have been regular guests of GGMC in the framework of the ISO 9001 certification and recertification process.
Over the years, GGMC moved to new versions of the standard, first to ISO 9001:2008 and later to ISO 9001:2015, incorporating new requirements and best practices into daily work.
Opting for ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 to streamline food safety management
Still, ISO 9001 being a cross-industry standard, it cannot fully satisfy all the needs of the food supply chain. Dedicated food safety standards play an important role in regulating the industry.
As an integral player of the food supply chain, GGMC took the decision to go through Food Safety Management System’s certification against a globally recognized standard.
In January 2012, GGMC achieved ISO 22000 certification from SGS, integrating the international best practices in the field of food safety management.
But the company didn't stop there. Three years later, GGMC went above and beyond by achieving SGS certification against FSSC 22000, a more comprehensive standard that incorporates ISO 22000 and additional requirements for food safety management.
Since 2015, GGMC has been maintaining both ISO 22000 and FSSC certifications.
Continual improvement as an ongoing process
In November 2023, by successfully completing the SGS recertification audit for ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC 22000, as well as the surveillance audit for ISO 9001:2015, GGMC demonstrated its unwavering dedication to ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety management across its operations.
The company continues its drive towards enhancing quality and food safety management systems.
Every audit is a self-evaluation against quality and food safety requirements. It helps us to benchmark against ever-evolving global requirements. I take pride in the improvement of the standards compliance over the years, and I strongly believe that it has happened with the commitment of top management and teamwork.
I’ve seen GGMC advancement in-terms of compliance to standard requirements from early days of certification program. Building a strong internal audit team contributed to this success.
We set our benchmark at peak, and we will strive harder to stay at this level of compliance for longer periods.
By adhering to international standards, GGMC leverages industry-leading expertise to stay ahead of evolving regulations and market demands.
