SGS is pleased to announce the appointment of Dmitry Nikitin as Managing Director of UAE and Head of Middle East countries, effective September 1, 2024.
With a strong background in the industry and a proven track record of success, Dmitry is well-equipped to lead and further strengthen SGS’s operations across this key region, which includes UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Djibouti, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and Pakistan.
In addition to his new role, Dmitry will continue serving as the Regional Head of Industries & Environment, EEME. Based in Dubai, UAE, Dmitry will report directly to Teymur Abasov, Head of EEMEA.
Dmitry's journey with SGS began in 2011, as he held various leadership roles in business development and management. His extensive experience and proven track record make him suited to drive SGS’s growth and innovation across the Middle East region.
I am truly honored to step into this new role and lead our efforts in the Middle East. My focus will be on driving SGS's growth and innovation, aligning with the SGS’s Strategy 2027 and ensuring we continue to set global standards in quality and excellence.
