We are excited to announce the arrival in Adelaide of a new shipment of advanced surface well testing equipment, sourced from the Middle East earlier this year. This investment marks a significant expansion in our surface well testing capabilities for onshore operations in Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Equipment specifications and key features
Each piece of equipment was carefully chosen to meet industry standards and optimize performance in surface well testing operations:
-
Separators: high-capacity units designed for precise separation of oil, gas and water phases, ensuring seamless operations and accurate data collection
-
Choke manifolds: constructed from robust materials to handle high pressure environments, they offer precise pressure control and flow rate management, essential in well testing
-
High pressure pipes: built for durability, these pipes support the safe transfer of fluids and gases under high pressure conditions, essential for dynamic testing environments
-
Steam exchangers: critical additions for high gas rate wells prone to hydrate formation, they prevent freezing issues and enhance operational reliability. The steam exchanger represents a significant advancement, allowing us to independently manage complex, high gas rate wells, a challenge that previously required external support
We expect to have this equipment operational by the start of Q1 2025, reflecting our commitment to using the latest technology to support the demands of our clients.
Reinforcing onshore surface well testing capabilities
Combined with our 30+ years of well testing expertise, our new equipment reinforces our leadership position in onshore surface well testing services across Australia and PNG. This new technology enables us to deliver more comprehensive and efficient solutions to existing clients while expanding our reach.
Expanding client access and market impact
We are dedicated to expanding our operational capacity in response to the increasing demand for more advanced and reliable testing solutions across Australia and PNG. Investing in our people and equipment is central to how we are elevating our service quality, strengthening our position as the oil and gas industry’s trusted partner and providing unmatched well testing precision.
