A ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation was held between Food City Agrocomplex, a company specialising in multifunctional services such as one-stop-shop import and export operations, logistics, brokerage, transit, storage, etc., and SGS Azerbaijan, an internationally recognised company in the field of inspection services, expertise, testing and certification.
The event was attended by Anar Agayev, CEO of Food City Agrocomplex, Seymur Agayev, Director of SGS Azerbaijan, and representatives of both companies.
CEO of Food City Agrocomplex Anar Agayev informed the participants of the event in detail about the activities, strategic importance, services provided and future plans of Food City Agrocomplex. He noted that the activity of the agrocomplex is always aimed at improving results, and special importance is attached to innovative solutions and effective co-operation in this direction.
Seymur Agayev, Director of SGS Azerbaijan, emphasised in his speech that the cooperation started between the two companies on the basis of the memorandum promises new opportunities and he is confident that these opportunities will be effective for both companies.
After the speeches, Anar Agayev, General Director of Food City Agrocomplex, and Seymur Agayev, Director of SGS Azerbaijan, signed the memorandum.
According to the document, it is planned to carry out inspection services with special attention to the inspection of transported products, conduct qualitative and quantitative inspections, organise warehouse inspections, fumigation monitoring, provide analytical services and cooperate in other areas.
