Founded in 2022, SwissCham Egypt is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting business and trade relations between Switzerland and Egypt. SwissCham Egypt's collaboration with Influence Public Affairs (IPA) plays a pivotal role in strengthening trade and economic relationships between Switzerland and Egypt. This partnership works to expand trade opportunities and drive economic growth.
As a dedicated top-tier partner and sponsor, we are significantly contributing to SwissCham's success by actively supporting conformity programs like EG71 and EG72 and collaborating with the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) to enhance training and ensure quality assurance.
2024 celebration of success
In May 2024, SwissCham Egypt hosted a high-profile event at Cairo’s Gezira Novotel Hotel to celebrate an exceptional season of accomplishments. Key attendees included:

- Ambassador of Switzerland in Egypt
- Chairman of GOEIC
- Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA)
The event emphasized continued collaborations, particularly in conformity programs, and discussed ambitious plans to expand the scope of goods under the EG71 GOEIC Program. Our contributions were highlighted, including the ISO 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065 training programs we’ve delivered to GOEIC’s quality department.
