ECHA Consults Over Three Chemicals as SVHC

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has launched a consultation on the listing of three chemicals as substances of very high concern (SVHC). Comments will be accepted until April 14, 2025.

In February 2025, the ECHA launched a 45-day consultation period for the listing of three substances as SVHC. If approved, the number of SVHC on the Candidate List will increase from 247 to 250.

Highlights of the three substances are summarized in Table 1
