We recently had the privilege of welcoming our CEO, Geraldine Picaud, to Dubai for a strategic visit. The purpose? To align on our ambitious Strategy 2027: Accelerating growth, building trust, across the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) markets.

During this visit led by Teymur Abasov, Head of EEMEA at SGS, we reaffirmed our commitment to staying true to our core values and objectives, while tailoring our solutions to the unique needs of each market.
Aligning our strategic vision for the future
SGS EEMEA is one of the most diverse regions among the five regions of the SGS Group. The regional organizational structure comprises of SGS entities in over 50 countries employing more than 19,300 people.
SGS has been holding strong positions in the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) market in the region through unparalleled expertise and innovative solutions within Natural Resources, Industries & Environment, Connectivity & Products, Business Assurance and Health & Nutrition business lines.
With a varied cultural mix and different languages spoken in each country, EEMEA is a region that is rich in history and local identity where close collaboration and effective cross-border support help SGS gain a competitive advantage.
During Geraldine’s visit to Dubai, the senior leaders of EEMEA delved into important topics and meticulously reviewed the strategic roadmap, honing in on critical areas that will propel our organization forward.
