Overview

Well-being cosmetics have recently been the trend par excellence. In this webinar, we will present the current state of development and demonstrate which testing methods are currently available and which can be offered in the future.

Objective

When people feel good about their appearance, it positively affects their overall mood. There are numerous ways in which cosmetic products can improve well-being. Key aspects include boosting self-confidence, offering emotional and psychological benefits, reducing stress and promoting relaxation and happiness.

Although research is still in its early stages, products claiming to enhance well-being are already available on the market. To investigate product performance and support such claims, classical test designs like clinical imaging, standardized questionnaires and cortisol measurements provide solid results. Additionally, promising new test designs are being developed, offering even more sophisticated insights.

In this webinar, we will explore the current state of well-being testing for cosmetic products and provide a glimpse into future developments.
