Declaration of Conformity

The SGS Academy in Finland organizes this training on declaration of conformity for manufacturers, importers and buyers of electrical and electronic equipment (industrial and consumer products). The aim of the training is to give an overall picture of the declaration of conformity and its content. Which directives require declaration and on what basis can declaration be issued? Who provides declaration and what are the obligations of the provider? How can certification systems for electrical and electronic products be used to ensure compliance? What is the role of the authorities in control of compliance and markets of electrical products in Finland?
