SGS Gulf Limited (UAE) is an approved certification body to provide Certificates of Conformity for consignments to Qatar.
Implemented and monitored the Ministry of Public Health - Food Safety Department (MoPH-FSD) Qatar; the Conformity Assessment of Food Scheme requires certificates of conformity (CoC) for all regulated product consignments imported into the country. SGS is an approved certification body by the Ministry of Public Health - Food Safety Department (MoPH-FSD) for the certification of all regulated food exports to Qatar from various global supply locations.

How to achieve food certification Qatar under this program
The exporter is required to apply for a Qatar Certificate of Conformity (CoC) with the certification body for all consignments destined to Qatar with the mandated documentary prerequisites for the corresponding shipments. The documents include:
- WATHEQ Registration (electronic food safety system)
- Invoice / Pro-forma invoice
- Packing list
- Quality management system (QMS)
- Internal certificate of analysis (COA)
- Artwork
- Label inspection report
- Samples of the products that need to be analyzed in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory to demonstrate compliance with the Qatari Technical Standard
Approval of all documents will receive the certificate of conformity for exports of food to Qatar.
