We are proud to announce that on March 28, 2023, SGS received Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO+) EASA certification. This allows us to manage continuous aircraft airworthiness and issue airworthiness review certificates (ARC).
Airlines, lessors and owners can now transfer the responsibility for airworthiness management to SGS. This means that they can save time and resources when dealing with aircraft in transition and get their aircraft out of their fleet in a quicker way, fulfilling EASA regulatory and technical requirements.
SGS CAMO+ can help with:
- Lease returns
- Transitions
- Aircraft purchases: prepurchase inspections and records audits
- End-of-life and part-out management
- Repossessions
- Parking and storage
- Export certificates
- Flight manual checks
- Management of technical flights
- AD assessments
- Maintenance program preparation
- Reliability
- Training
- Data migration
CAMO+ certification is valid throughout the world for approved operators certified under EASA regulations, mainly in the European Union.
In combination with our existing accreditations for Borescope Inspection (BSI) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), this new certification allows us to provide a greater range of services for clients with A320, B737 and A330 aircraft models.
Asier Eulate Beramendi, SGS Aerospace Program Manager said, “This is an important step forward for SGS. With this CAMO+ certification, we are expanding our service portfolio and cementing our position as a reference for excellence in the aerospace industry.”
With qualified local technicians who apply a global approach, we continue to expand our international presence as aerospace experts, helping clients around the world ensure aircraft airworthiness.
