How the CPSC's eFiling Platform Will Affect Filing Certification Data for Consumer Products

The introduction of mandatory eFiling by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will change the way consumer products access US markets. Product safety certificates will need to be registered using the Participating Government Agencies (PGA) Message Set through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system.

In this live webinar, presenters Dr. Min Zhu and Kelly Peng will provide background information on how the new system will be implemented and explores how it will help to streamline the efficiency of the import process for hardlines and softlines products.

Dr. Zhu will present in English on May 14, and Kelly Peng will present in Mandarin on May 21.

Dr. Min Zhu leads the North American Softlines technical services and operations to provide support and consultancy to the US and Canadian customers for their global testing and compliance programs. She drives the development of cutting-edge testing programs and global harmonization, and implements SGS Softlines policies, governance, new services, and technical initiatives. She is also in charge of sustainability services in North America for Softlines. Min has over 20 years of experience in research, product development, manufacturing, and technical marketing with reputable companies in the global textile supply chain. She is an active member of AATCC, ASTM, AAFA, and other global and industry standard organizations.
Kelly Peng

Technical Manager, Hardlines, Connectivity and Products

Kelly Peng

With over 17 years experience in the TIC industry, Kelly is responsible for daily physical and mechanical technical support, guiding and supporting different key global toy accounts. Kelly is also a communication member of the China Toy Standards Committee and has been involved in the review and approval of national standards. As a toy technical expert, Kelly has actively participated in various technology integration work while vigorously promoting toy safety training, including over 100 sessions, providing value-added services for industry enterprises.
