On December 19, 2019, the ISO 24444:2019 standard was published, establishing a new edition of the methods and requirements for the in vivo testing and evaluation of Sun Protection Factor (SPF) sunscreens. These standards are applicable to any product that is able to absorb, reflect or scatter ultraviolet (UV) rays and is intended to be placed in contact with human skin.
