New Insights from SGS: Taking Control of PFAS in Food and Beverages

Overview

A year ago, the European Union defined limit values for PFAS in animal foodstuffs for the first time. Other countries are also planning regulations or have already implemented them. Since then, the problem of PFAS has been frequently referenced in the media, and end consumers have become increasingly concerned about the impact of PFAS on the products they consume.

Since the introduction of the new limits on PFAS, SGS’s testing laboratories have been helping food and beverage customers ensure their regulatory compliance – and, in the process, have gathered valuable new insights into the occurrence of PFAS in food. We would like to share these new insights with you.

Objective

In this webinar, you will learn where PFAS occur and which foods have particularly high concentrations of PFAS. You will also learn about the latest regulatory changes with regard to PFAS in food. The highlight of the webinar will be a presentation of current data on the occurrence of PFAS in food. In addition, we will use PFAS as an example to demonstrate how you can use our digital food safety platform, Digicomply, to assess other risks.
