Sustainable shopping is becoming a high priority for consumers all around the world. Additionally, many countries are enacting more stringent regulations regarding product packaging.
The Triman logo is one of the most significant symbols for sorting requirements. From 2022 and onwards, three new EPR schemes have been introduced for:
- Toys
- Furniture & Bedding
- Gardening & DIY Products
For Household Packaging, the logo and sorting advice must be displayed directly on the product itself, or in immediate proximity of the product. A transition period is in place until 9 March 2023. Afterwards, packaging that is not compliant with the new Triman signage rules may no longer be placed on the French market.
