In 2024, we are proud to commemorate the 65th anniversary of SGS in Hong Kong with the spirit of our theme as “Empowering a Sustainable Future”. The significant milestone reflects our dedication, growth, and unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier testing, inspection, and certification services over the past six and half decades, while empowering our customers to serve the society and planet into a sustainable future.
The month-long celebration, which took place in March, marked this momentous occasion with a series of engaging activities for our esteemed employees. The celebrations kicked off at the Town Hall where we officially announced and celebrated this milestone. We are honoured that we have received the congratulatory messages through videos from our former CEO Frankie Ng and CEO Géraldine Picaud on SGS Hong Kong's achievements and shared the key directions of the group. There were also carnivals, interactive games, 65th birthday party, etc. A grand lucky draw was also held with delicious snacks and gift packs distributed to our colleagues. Congratulations to the lucky ones who won cash prizes and hope all of you had a great time!

To realize our commitment to empowering a sustainable future, we have also organized the “Earth Seed Planting Activity” within the company. A project collectively plants 1,000 potted plants by our colleagues to promote the green concept of protecting our earth. The seeds are shaped like a cute little earth by handcrafted moulding and are made from 100% recycled office paper pulp with plant seeds inside. And many of us have shared the result of different plantings which have successfully sprouted.
