During the Asia Summit on Global Health, SGS and the partners introduced the jointly developed and implemented Gold-LAMP, a portable ultra-fast nucleic acid testing system for food and the environment.
Recently, SGS attended the Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH)* with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University academic-led start-up PocNAT Limited, together with industry partners including Maxim’s Group, Hotel ICON and International Gourmets Food (under DCH Group), and have introduced the jointly developed and implemented Gold-LAMP, a portable ultra-fast nucleic acid testing system for food and environment with the turnaround time of test result being less than 30 minutes.
Jack Yuen, SGS Deputy Director of Health & Nutrition and Sustainability Development and Jackson Woo, SGS Deputy Director of Connectivity & Products and Innovation, also shared professional insights with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Vice President (Research and Innovation), Professor Chao and other guests at the venue.
This breakthrough in food and environmental testing relies on mutual trust and active communication between all parties. SGS will continue to work together with the industry to safeguard the public health.
