The EU has revised the specifications for HBCDD under the POP Recast Regulation. The new law will become effective on October 17, 2024.

On September 27, 2024, the EU issued Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2555 of March 21, 2024, to revise the POP Recast Regulation regarding HBCDD.
