SGS Hong Kong Ltd has been accredited under ISO/IEC 17065 and authorized as a Local Certification Body (LCB) under Hong Kong Telecommunication equipment Evaluation and Certification (HKTEC) Scheme by the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) to carry out the testing and certification of telecommunication equipment to be used and sold in the Hong Kong market.
OFCA is a government department supporting the Communication Authority in managing and administrating the radio frequency spectrum and telecommunication numbers. Based on the HKTEC Scheme, we act as a LCB for OFCA to provide the procedure for granting, maintaining, suspending and withdrawing OFCA certificates with a prefix “HK 003” in the certification number.
