The SGS team attended the Pak-Korea seminar focused on solar PV module testing. The event, organized collaboratively by the Pakistan Council for Renewable Energy & Technology (PCRET) and Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), took place on 31 January 2024, in Islamabad.
The seminar was attended by various industry stakeholders, including delegates from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Energy Agency (KEA). Technical experts and government officials from the Ministry of Science & Technology, Pakistan Science Foundation, PCSIR, NPSL, PNAC, and PCRET were also in attendance, thus various professionals and experts were able to collaborate and exchange ideas.
Our team members connected with industry experts to obtain updated knowledge of renewable energy overall and to discuss SGS’s expertise in the sector. We discussed the solar PV module’s development and testing abilities, and how this technology can be implemented across the region.
The joint efforts of PCRET and KCL in organizing this seminar underscore the importance of global collaboration in advancing solar PV module testing. The presence of key players and influencers from both countries sets the stage for fruitful partnerships and shared advancements in renewable energy technology.
