The SGS Natural Resources - Minerals Services team from Pakistan organized an interactive session on “SGS’s Role in Iron Ore Exploration, Mining, Beneficiation & Trade” at Pakistan Society of Development and Training DHA Karachi.
The aim of organizing this session was to provide our clients with a deeper understanding of SGS's role and expertise in the iron ore sector, empowering them to make informed decisions and optimize their operations for greater efficiency and profitability.
Mr. Syed Faseeh, Business Manager, and Mr. Abdul Razzak Lakhani, Managing Director SGS Pakistan, enlightened clients with a warm welcome note for their valuable participation.
Mr. Moin Ul Haque presented comprehensive overview of the exploration process, highlighting the significance of geological surveys, geophysical studies, and geochemical analysis. Thorough exploration activities are essential for laying the foundation of successful mining projects. They provide companies with the information and insights needed to make strategic decisions, minimize risks, and maximize the potential for resource extraction in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Mr. Malik Zahid, Business Development Manager, and Mr. Muhammad Kashif, Operations Manager, presented their insights on the significance of sampling activity and role of operations team for carrying out effective sampling.
Before concluding the session, several attendees expressed their views and insights regarding the industry trends and about their experiences.
