In August 2023, SGS participated in a full day session organized by CKIC (Changsha Kaiyuan Instruments Co., Ltd) for the awareness and the latest developments on analytical instruments, especially for coal and cement analysis, at Serena Hotel Islamabad, Pakistan.
The event was graced by representatives of coal fired power plants, cement plants and various industries having coal fired boilers.
SGS briefed the participants on latest developments and core services to optimize business productivity and reduce risks associated with it. A detailed presentation was delivered to highlight key domains of services related to exploration, testing, quantity estimation and sampling services.
Clients have appreciated the steps being taken by SGS to assist the industry to capitalize on their potential and have shared queries to follow-up on.
CKIC, the Chinese manufacturer of mechanical samplers, sample preparation equipment and analytical instruments, presented their latest range of equipment for coal and cement testing. They have also highlighted the areas of expertise and cutting-edge technology being deployed to reduce testing variance and turnaround time.
Clients were also presented with a live demo on some of the equipment available at the venue. Participants were glad to network with each other and recommended to host such events in future as well.
