The Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) Development Program provides a food safety assessment model that is aligned with the Codex General Principles of Food Hygiene, Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Global Markets and the FSSC 22000 standard. It offers a series of clear steps to help you develop an effective food safety management system and provides a clear pathway for organizations to achieve full FSSC certification in the future.
The program splits into two forms of unaccredited assessment, each monitored via the FSSC Foundation’s integrity program and companies that conform to the program’s standards will be listed on the FSSC’s publicly available register.
