In May 2023, based on the results of the successfully completed SGS certification audit, KazFos LLP received a certificate of compliance with the ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system.
The decision to implement a food safety management system for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 22000:2018 and certification was made by the management of KazFos LLP in order to ensure the quality of products, production development and compliance with the requirements of partners and suppliers.
KazFos LLP is a joint venture of "Kazphosphate" LLP (Kazakhstan) and "Fosfa a.s." (Czech Republic), located on the territory of "NDFZ" LLP. The enterprise is located 15 km northwest of the prospective border of Taraz city along the northern slopes of Ulken-Burul Mountain of the Karatau ridge.
The main activity of KazFos LLP is the production of sodium polyphosphate (sodium hexametaphosphate). The design capacity is 4000 tons/year. It is planned to increase the design capacity to 8000 tons/year.
The products are supplied to "Fosfa a.s." and further to the EU countries, the USA, as well as to Kazakhstan and neighboring countries: Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan.
Currently, work is underway on the construction of the second technological line, the commissioning of the new line is planned in December 2023. In the near future, it is planned to develop new types of products – polyphosphates of different quality.
The company confidently follows its mission and the tasks and goals facing it, new jobs are being created at the plant, the company strives to expand the supply of its products to the international market, one of the stages of entering new sales markets is obtaining the ISO 22000:2018 international certificate for the food safety management system.
