SGS has announced the opening of an advanced state-of-the-art electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) testing laboratory in Senai, Johor, Malaysia, delivering world-class testing facilities for household electrical and electronic (E&E) products.
The expansive 5,300 square meter facility stands as a beacon of innovation and technological excellence in the region, setting new benchmarks for testing, quality assurance and compliance.
The state-of-the-art laboratory boasts an array of cutting-edge capabilities including a sophisticated EMC/RF testing center, which is specifically designed for comprehensive evaluations of household E&E products. SGS’s stringent testing capability ensures the utmost levels of quality, safety and adherence to international, national and industry-specific standards.
In addition, the laboratory is a hub for battery safety testing, restricted chemical substance analysis, electrical and electronic product safety testing, and food testing.
Strategically located within the heart of the E&E manufacturing hub in Johor, adjacent to Senai International Airport and the Malaysia-Singapore border, and within reach of the Indonesian E&E manufacturing hub, the laboratory's prime location has been carefully selected to offer convenient and efficient testing services for research and development purposes, shorter turnaround times and better quality services.
