Course aim
The APQP4Wind Specialist training course aims to give the participants a solid understanding of the APQP4Wind process and introduce the framework, requirements, and how to use and apply the tools in practice.
Learning objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the APQP4Wind framework and its value
- Understand the APQP4Wind processes and:
- APQP4Wind framework and phases
- PPAP4Wind methodology, and submission levels
- The core methods and tools used in APQP4Wind, and the rationales and value in using the tools

- Introduction to APQP4Wind purpose and scope
- APQP4Wind Phases 1 – 7
- PPAP process and analysis tool
- PSW deviation management and DFMEA
- PFMEA control plan, capability and MSA
- Implementing APQP4Wind
Audience
This course is designed for quality managers and engineers, system, product and/or process engineers, project managers and engineers, specialists, and others involved in the APQP4Wind process.
Prior knowledge
There are no mandatory requirements to attend the specialist training course. However, it is recommended that participants have good knowledge of basic quality tools, ISO 9001 system requirements and, preferably, some experience from a quality function.
Course certification
This course is certificated by APQP4Wind. On completion of this course:
- Participants must complete and pass the APQP4Wind Specialist training examination. Successful participants will receive a certificate approved by the APQP4Wind Secretariat. The certificate is valid for four years from the exam date
- Learners who do not pass the exam but attended the whole course can resit the examination twice within 12 months of the end date of the first examination
