You can guarantee high quality fuel by purchasing it at gas stations with the SGS Seal of Quality. This mark shows which gas stations’ fuel is regularly checked for quality by SGS.

As per the program requirements, SGS performs regular sampling and testing, as well as random spot controls, to ensure that each station with the SGS Seal of Quality is meeting the requirements of our standard.

The negative consequences of low quality fuel:

  • Performance and efficiency: Poor quality fuel reduces engine performance and efficiency, leading to a subpar driving experience and higher maintenance costs due to increased wear on the engine
  • Safety risks: Using substandard fuel increases the risk of unexpected breakdowns, posing safety hazards for drivers
  • Emissions and pollution: Inferior fuel leads to higher emissions of harmful pollutants, contributing to air quality degradation and environmental damage

If you suspect poor fuel quality, promptly file a claim with proof of purchase at the gas station where you refueled. Then contact the closest SGS laboratory to receive further instructions
