The inspection tentacle of SGS Inspection Services Saudi Arabia Ltd, Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Minerals, Agri Inspection Services, has been approved to maintain the ISO 17020 accreditation after the recent assessment audit conducted by Gulf Accreditation Center (GAC).
With the accredited inspection services, the world-known impartiality, integrity, and reliability of SGS services, we have attained another dimension and international recognition which adds another feather to our other accredited and certified services like Petroleum/Oil Testing, Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM), Environmental Testing, Water and Food Testing, Calibration and Certification.
The Director of SGS Saudi Arabia, Mr. Roy Skaria said: “The accreditation further corroborates that SGS policies, quality procedures, and technical expertise are consistent and foolproof in terms of quality, independence, and conformity requirements of Mutual Recognition Arrangement of World Accreditation Councils like ILAC, APLAC, etc."
SGS Saudi Arabia is the sole inspection agency in the country with ISO 17020 accreditation for its inspection services in the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals segment. The scope of accreditation includes Marine Vessel and Shore Tank Inspection of Petroleum, Petroleum Products, and Petrochemicals.
