SGS Pakistan has verified quality and quality of the first ever consignment of cement shipped from Pakistan to Mexico. The inspection activities have been performed in supplier’s plant in Baluchistan and Karachi.
Cement export opportunities
Mexico has been increasing imports of cement since there is high demand for construction materials whereas domestic production of cement falls short of national consumption.
On the contrary, Pakistani cement industry has a huge export potential in view of the surplus production capacity.

To verify quality of the cement, we conducted sampling and testing of the samples in the SGS state-of-the-art laboratory in Karachi.
The test report demonstrated that the supplied cement complied with the required specification, giving details on the product’s properties such as chemical characteristics, strength, air content etc.
