Awareness Session on “SGS Role for Coal Exploration, Mining and Trade”

SGS Pakistan Natural Resources - Minerals Services organized an interactive session on “SGS Role for Coal Exploration, Mining, & Trade” on 25th April 2024 at Indus Hotel – Hyderabad.

The aim of this session was to provide deeper understanding of SGS's role for coal industry as well as understand thoughts and perspectives of our clients for the continuous improvement.

Awareness Session on SGS Role for Coal Exploration Mining and Trade

The session extended a warm welcome note to all the valuable clients by Syed Faseeh (Business Manager – NR – Mineral Services) and hosted by Kulsoom Mangrio.

We are highly thankful to our guests speakers whose presence grace the whole event.

Engr. Muhammad Ashraf Mallah Deputy General Manager at Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company department of Geophysical surveys in Coal Exploration and Mining, expressed his views on Coal Exploration & Mining highlighting the potential and issues faced in indigenous coal.

Mr. Badar Bin Anwar – Deputy General Manager and Head of International Trade and Power Cement also expressed his perspectives on value of coal in market and its utilization in cement industry.

Mr. Abdul Samad Raeesani Chairman of Lakhra Coal Field presented broad perspective on coal mining potential for SGS as well as suggested us to plan next session in Lakhra coal fields to have maximum participation of mine owners.

Col. Naeem from Decent Caol Mining also shared his ideas and views on coal mining & trading in Pakistan.

Session was ended with giveaways as a token of appreciation to all clients for their valuable presence and NR-Mineral Services Team appreciates time and feedback of participants to make an event successful. Let’s have a look into glimpse of the event.
