We can now provide a wider scope of valuable fertilizer testing services to our customers.
What does the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation cover?
By gaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, the Klaipeda laboratory can now test a range of inorganic fertilizers using the titrimetric, gravimetric and sieving testing methods:
Titrimetric method
- Ammoniacal nitrogen content
- Nitrate and ammoniacal nitrogen content according to Devarda
Gravimetric method
- Content of phosphorus soluble in mineral acids
- Water-soluble potassium content
- Sieve test
- Moisture content
Sieving method
- Sieve test
SGS’s Klaipeda Laboratory
Our 150m2 Klaipeda laboratory provides fertilizer, salt and wood pellets testing services (including heavy metals testing). By obtaining LST EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2018 accreditation, the laboratory now operates in accordance with EU Regulation 2019/1009 and the National Fertilizer Law.
