Is Your Business Ready for the EU’s Revised Toy Standards?

With revisions to all of the EU’s toy standards due by October 2025, our live webinar explains how businesses can prepare for regulatory changes.

Toy standards in the EU will change in the next fourteen months. Following the EU Toy Standardization Request, agreed between the EU Commission and the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), both EN 71-series and EN IEC 62115 will be revised, with a deadline of October 25, 2025.

The Toy Standardization Request is a process for defining the work program for standardization which sets topics and requests to be considered in the next version of a standard. Due to prolonged discussions between the EU and CEN, there is now a tight timescale for changes.

This webinar explores the consequences of this for businesses selling toys to European markets, providing an overview of the EU Toy Standardization Request. This includes the draft EN 71 Parts 15 to 19 standards for toys intended for use by children under 36 months or other toys intended to be placed in the mouth. Our experts will look at the proposed changes in physical/mechanical safety, and flammability, chemical, electrical and microbiological safety standards; and discuss solutions for navigating the revised regulations.
