SGS Opens New Downstream and Marine Bunker Fuels Laboratory in Greece

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new downstream and marine bunker fuels laboratory located in Nea Peramos, Megara, Greece.

Since beginning our journey in Greece in 1933, we have been on a path of constant expansion, and this new facility marks a significant milestone in our growth journey.

Specialized capabilities

The importance of fuel testing is paramount, especially for ship owners and charterers, as off-spec fuel can trigger numerous performance-related challenges for ships.

Our newly established laboratory, equipped with cutting-edge technology, is ISO 17025 accredited, certifying it to conduct bunker fuel testing in compliance with the latest ISO 8217 standards.

We boast a global network of experts ready to support all your testing, inspection, risk management, marine and consultancy requirements for:
