SGS in Ukraine

We established SGS Ukraine in 1992, starting with our first Odesa Oil Terminal office. Today, with our headquarters in Odesa, we have operational offices in all major cities and ports across Ukraine, employing over 750 dedicated experts.

We provide a comprehensive range of testing, inspection, certification and validation activities across a wide range of industries, including agricultural, minerals, automotive, consumer products and more.

In Ukraine we also offer TransitNet, a universal, multimodal e-customs transit guarantee solution to streamline and accelerate the customs process. As the “Holder of Procedure” for customs, we handle transit declarations (T1/T2) on behalf of our clients, including transporters, brokers, and freight forwarders. Using the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS), we submit declarations to customs authorities in countries within the Common Transit area. Since Ukraine joined the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure in 2022, we can now submit declarations to any inland or border customs office in Ukraine.

Our testing center in Odesa features state-of-the-art laboratories for agricultural, mineral, oil, gas, chemical, environmental and genetically modified organism (GMO) analysis. Staffed by highly qualified professionals and equipped with advanced technology, our facility operates in full compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
