SGS has signed an agreement to acquire AMA Analytical Services, a Maryland-based specialist in environmental testing, with a focus on asbestos, metals and microbial analysis.
The acquisition adds 21 skilled professionals to SGS’s team and provides significant opportunities to expand its specialized environmental services in the Mid-Atlantic and North-East regions of the United States. Closing is expected on 31 October 2024.
