Learn how ISCC PLUS certification supports sustainability in the chemicals and plastics industries. Discover updated requirements, implementation strategies, and certification insights from ISCC, SGS, and industry experts in this informative session.
International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification is used across various industries to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, circular economy, and bio-economy practices. Benefits include traceability, credibility, market access, regulatory compliance, brand image, and consumer trust.
The chemicals and plastics industry has a significant number of ISCC PLUS certifications. This is due to the industry's push towards sustainable materials, such as bio-based and recycled plastics, driven by regulatory pressures, a push to reduce dependency on fossil fuels, and consumer demand for eco-friendly products.
There have been many updates to the ISCC PLUS standard over the past 3 years, and it’s critical that companies stay current with the new requirements as they consider and maintain certification.
