A good understanding of pre-export verification of conformity (PVoC) services is crucial for businesses seeking to export or import regulated goods.
In Uganda, the Petroleum Authority Uganda (PAU) program regulates specialist equipment and materials for use in the design, construction, operation, decommissioning and disposal of upstream and midstream oil and gas activities and facilities. Businesses operating in this sector must undertake PVoC assessment before sending their products to Uganda. The new PAU program being implemented on February 15, 2024.
SGS has been contracted by PAU, in collaboration with the Uganda National Bureau of Standards, to provide PVoC services, helping to make the conformity process quicker and more straightforward.
Our complimentary webinar will take attendees through the PAU PVoC Uganda program, giving them a better understanding of application and operational procedures. It will also explain the stage of certification, including document review, inspection and issuance of the final certificate of conformity.
