SGS Live: Ecodesign and the DPP for Sustainable Products

In the move toward a circular economy, the EU has approved the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), which will require manufacturers to design products with a focus on durability, reusability, repairability and recyclability. Complementing this, all products must have a digital product passport (DPP), which will accompany the product along the entire supply chain. The DPP will collect information on materials, production processes and sustainability, so consumers and retailers can make better decisions about the products they buy and sell.

Watch our latest SGS Live, in which SGS’s Frank Kempe, Global Technical Manager and Valérie Cimetiere, Global Softlines Expert discuss the new regulations, how businesses can adapt to them, and how taking action to achieve sustainability can stimulate innovation and provide a competitive advantage.
