China Releases a new Product Standard for Knitted garments dyed by vegetable dyes–FZ/T 73065-2020
The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced a new sector standard FZ/T 73065-2020 <Knitted garments dyed by vegetable dyes> which is a product standard and became effective on October 1, 2020.
Application Scope
This standard applies to knitted garments dyed with vegetable dyes.
Vegetable dyes
Natural organic compounds which are extracted from the roots, bark, stem, leaves, fruits, seeds of plants or vegetables, and can be used to dye fibre with a certain level of colourfastness.
Knitted garments dyed by vegetable dyes
Knitted garments which contain only vegetable dyes, or knitted fabrics dyed with vegetable dyes accounting for 70% or more of the total area of the garments. Garments made of fabrics dyed with both vegetable dyes and synthetic dyes, must contain an area of 70% or more vegetable dyes.
