As a result of the 2021 CDP assessment, we have achieved ‘Leadership’ level. Companies reaching the Leadership level represent best practice through comprehensive disclosure of environmental data, awareness and management of risks, demonstration of strong governance, and market-leading best practices.

SGS has been a carbon neutral company since 2014 and we continuously strive to promote a low carbon economy through our entire value chain.
Looking forward, we are committed to supporting the transition to a low carbon and climate resilient world and have set ambitious reduction targets in our new corporate sustainability strategy, the Sustainability Ambitions 2030.
Committed to Further Emission Reduction
SGS has committed to further increase our current science-based emission reduction targets to align them with keeping global warming to 1.5ºC above pre-industrial levels. We have also joined the Business Ambitions for 1.5ºC campaign and become part of the United Nations-backed campaign Race to Zero.
