The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has launched a consultation over the listing of two chemicals as substances of very high concern (SVHC). Comments are being accepted until April 15, 2024.
On March 1, 2024, the ECHA launched a 45-day consultation period for listing bis(α,α-dimethylbenzyl) peroxide and triphenyl phosphate as SVHC. If approved, the number of SVHC on the Candidate List will expand from 240 entries to 242 entries.
Highlights of the two substances are summarized in Table 1.
