The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has announced a significant update to the ECAS logo and related conformity marks through Ministerial Decree No. 137 of 2024, published in the official gazette.
The new Conformity Logo and Labels update mandates that the updated logos be implemented within six months for new importations and within one year for existing stocks & new importation.
To ensure compliance with local regulations, all regulated products must be registered under the ECAS/EQM scheme prior to import into the UAE. Additionally, products are required to display the appropriate conformity marks.
