Accreditation and Certification

SGS in Pakistan is accredited to deliver certification to many standards and regulations – enabling businesses to demonstrate that products, processes and/or services meet customer expectations.

Certification, conducted by an independent third party, confirms that specific requirements relating to a product, person, process or management system have been met. In Pakistan, we offer a number of certification services, including:

Accreditation process

Organizations, like SGS, that issue credentials, or certify third parties against official standards, are checked and certified for their competency, authority and credibility, and known as Accredited Certification Bodies (ACB). Before receiving approval to issue credentials and certifications, ACBs are themselves formally vetted and approved by national Accreditation Bodies. This process ensures that the ACBs certification practices are acceptable, competent and ethical. At the same time the assessment ensures an ACB employs appropriate and effective quality assurance.
