In the EU and France, textile regulation is paying increasing attention to product durability and lifespan, and the impact products have on the environment.
This live webinar looks at the varied criteria that may be used to calculate the durability of a textile product and how these criteria are managed in different specifications in the EU and France.
Within Europe’s Product Environmental Carbon Footprint Rules (PECFR) – in France the Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy (AGEC) law, the Climate and Resilience law and the Re-Fashion Eco-Modulations – there are different criteria for defining the physical performance testing of textile products, and this webinar will help attendees understand how these criteria are managed according to the different regulatory specifications.
As well as recent updates to product durability requirements for France and Europe we will also look at the presence of endocrine disruptors and France’s environmental labeling requirements.
Our expert, Valérie Cimetiere, will review newly published information related to the implementation of regulatory laws and their requirements.
