SGS Awards ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification to IX Capital International Limited (IXCI)

SGS has awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems certification to IX Capital International Limited (IXCI), the globally recognized benchmark for information security management systems (ISMS).

IXCI provides professional services in both real and digital assets including index consultancy, index design, index calculation and dissemination, and index education. This certification signifies IXCI’s commitment to the highest international best practices for managing data security risks in the provision and operation of internal information technology services.

SGS, the world’s leading inspection, testing and certification company, provided a range of ISO/IEC 27001 support services, including training and audits to ensure compliance.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard is designed for organizations of all sizes across various sectors, providing a framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS. Adherence to these standards ensures that IXCI’s ISMS efficiently manages risks associated with data security, keeping pace with the latest industry practices enshrined in this international standard.

In an era where cyber risks are escalating, and new threats constantly emerge. ISO/IEC 27001:2013 aids organizations in becoming risk-aware and proactive. It encourages a holistic approach to information security, covering aspects of people, policies, and technology.
