We are pleased to announce that we have awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management certification to DCH Business Innovations Limited (DCHBI). This certification is a testament to DCH’s information technology (IT) infrastructure, operations and governance in accordance with the international standard’s requirements for an information security management system (ISMS).
DCHBI is the digital and technology arm of Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited, a leading distributor and dealer of motor vehicles and fast-moving consumer goods (FCMGs). Data security is a necessity in these industries. Therefore, this achievement is particularly significant to DCH’s stakeholders and clients as it underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining international standards of information security and reinforces its position as a leader in the digital and IT landscape.
To achieve certification, DCH underwent an exhaustive audit of its information systems, policies, procedures and processes, demonstrating that it had successfully met the requirements for implementing, maintaining and continually improving its ISMS. Certification covers DCH’s Headquarters in Kowloon Bay, as well as its employees, processes and technologies supporting DCH’s subsidiaries and business.
Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification demonstrates DCH’s dedication to safeguarding data security and enhancing its operational resilience. This certification reflects its ongoing commitment to implementing a robust information security management system that protects its clients and stakeholders. While this is not seen as an end in itself, it reinforces a process of continuous improvement, allowing it to deliver standards with an international level of security and transparency for all users.

Why is ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management certification important?
As corporations increasingly integrate digital technologies into their processes, the potential for cybersecurity threats increases. To maintain customers and stakeholder trust, companies must reach a new level of vigilance in information security. In particular, the e-commerce and FMCG industries must take care to avoid costly data breaches involving customer payment details.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 provides e-commerce platforms and retail companies with a framework for protecting customer information, securing payment gateways and ensuring the safety of personal data by identifying potential security risks, implementing effective controls and continually improving their security postures.
